Stephanopoulos: holy fuck 25,000 acres
have burned in California

Kanani: thousands of firefighters and
marines are battling the blazes

Stephanopoulos: enough seamen
will put that fire out

Kanani: it hasn't rained in
California since 2009

Stephanopoulos: whoa

Stephanopoulos: Jerry are the fires out yet?

Brown: George this is the worst
fire season since the dinosaurs
got trapped in all that tar

Stephanopoulos: this year you've
had twice as many fires as average

Brown: we're in the middle of
a three-year drought

Stephanopoulos: yikes

Brown: plus we have 30 million people
and it only takes one to burn it all down

Stephanopoulos: how do you adapt to
climate change when Republicans deny it?

Brown: global warming is cooking
our state and the GOP isn't helping

Stephanopoulos: what's the solution?

Brown: we're going to have to
make very expensive investments to fight it

Stephanopoulos: there's your
problem right there

Brown: short sightedness and greed

Stephanopoulos: what do you
need from Washington DC?

Brown: humanity is on a
collision course with nature!

Stephanopoulos: that's a fight you can't win

Brown: we got to fight all these damn fires

Stephanopoulos: in 1992 you kept running
against Bill Clinton long after it was hopeless

Brown: that's just how I am

Stephanopoulos: is Hillary headed
to a coronation in 2016?

Brown: she has almost no potential
rivals but that has risks too

Stephanopoulos: so exciting!

[ break ]

Stephanopoulos: how is the search
for the missing girls in Nigeria?

MacDonald: the Nigerian government
is looking in jungles and in caves

Stephanopoulos: well it sounds
like they're on top of this

MacDonald: some fear people inside
the government are tipping Boko Haram off

Stephanopoulos: that sounds bad

MacDonald: anyway no one thinks
the Nigerian military could rescue the girls
even if they knew where they were

Stephanopoulos: sounds like they're screwed

MacDonald: pretty much

Stephanopoulos: I don't get it –
we've hashtaged the hell out of this

[ break ]

Stephanopoulos: welcome Admiral –
could the U.S. help rescue these girls?

Harward: well we could help locate them

Raddatz: don't forget Nigeria
is a sovereign country

Stephanopoulos: interesting point

Stephanopoulos: what's the deal with
the Veteran's Administration problems?

Raddatz: it's only just getting started!

Stephanopoulos: can't wait!

[ break ]

Stephanopoulos: what's the deal
with the Internet?

Zeleny: anyone can start a billion
dollar website from their dorm room!

Stephanopoulos: it's a whole age

Zeleny: but not anymore –
the little guy will be stuck in the slow lane

Stephanopoulos: dammit

Zeleny: twitter would never had gotten
started without net neutrality

Stephanopoulos: #lossforhumanity

Stephanopoulos: what is net neutrality?

Johnson: it's about how fast the internet is

Stephanopoulos: how fast is it?

Johnson: what if we lived in a world
where certain websites loaded faster?

Stephanopoulos: as long as they
don't block my cosplay sites

Johnson: it would absolutely
change everything

Stephanopoulos: so what's going
to happen next?

Johnson: cable companies want to
sell your access to the internet
off to the highest bidder

Stephanopoulos: that's the free market for you

Johnson: indeed it is

[ break ]

Stephanopoulos: 1 in 5 women in college
have been victims of sexual assault

Menendez: students filed a federal
lawsuit against Columbia

Stephanopoulos: even the ivy league!

Menendez: someone passed out flyers
and wrote graffiti naming rapists on
campus which the school quickly
scrubbed thus solving the problem

Stephanopoulos: got it

Menendez: but how do you
define non-consensual sex?

Stephanopoulos: 'sex' without consent?

Menendez: this has been a
problem for twenty years

Stephanopoulos: ladies how do we address this problem?

Gray: we have seen the President
and Vice President putting a spotlight
on this so that helps

Capilouto: at the University of Kentucky
we put responsibility on the entire
campus community

Stephanopoulos: what can the
federal government do?

Capilouto: we train college students
to recognize risky situations

Stephanopoulos: a lot of rapes are
committed by just a few bad guys

Gray: 75% of campus rapists are
repeat offenders who commit six rapes each

Stephanopoulos: whoa

Gray: if you see a frat brother about
to rape someone get creative –
spill a drink on him or say
hey don't rape that person

Stephanopoulos: good discussion everyone

[ break ]

Jon Karl: omg the Clintons are
running for President!

Rove: Clinton has brain damage!

Karl: Rove was lying

Bill Clinton: ha ha ha

Karl: Hillary appears to be ok now

Bai: Republican are telling Clinton it
won't be a free ride to the White House

Stephanopoulos: that must have come as quite a shock to them
